Friday night my sister and I made the 2 1/2 hour drive to Dalzell, SC to watch her son, my nephew Dean, play football. His team won 42 over 6! Needless to say we were all happy.
It was very chilly in upstate SC, Fall truly is here!
Saturday we got up bright and early and got my little princess ready for her pageant.

She is Wee Miss Jasper County 2014 and we are so very proud!
I could never be a judge though, the girls are beautiful and I don't know how they do it!

One of Cadence's friend, Olivia, was also in her age group and placed 2nd runner up, just look at these cuties! Absolutely precious!
Sunday we headed to the zoo, where I fed a bird, pet a giraffe, kissed a goat, and trespassed on personal property which was a peanut field to take pictures of my little peanut. I also picked cotton to make an at home bouquet, which turned out perfectly! And naturally, since we were in Columbia, we had to stop by Williams Brice!
We ended the weekend perfectly last night, by sitting by the fire and roasting marshmallows!
