When it comes to Lilly Pulizter it's either a love it or leave it type of clothing for me. As far as the products themselves, the quality is great, however it's the prints that I love or leave and this Summer Lilly is spot on! Rather than look under a category labelled dresses, shorts, etc. I look under prints because that's what Lilly is known for.
My favorite prints/products for her Summer line (all images via Lilly Pulitzer):
Feeling Tanked is such a bright and fun pattern with colors that coordinate so well with one another. The neon pink with blue and orange just pop and I cannot wait to get my hands on these Adie shorts. I tried them on in the mall last week and was so tempted, but it's definitely a bit higher than what I'm used to paying for shorts. The want is real though, and I'm pinching my pennies for these lovelies!
To be honest I did not like this pattern when I first saw it, but I have been wanting a wristlet for such a long time. Lugging around a purse can just get heavy after a while and it's nice to be able to tote a small wristlet that carries all of your necessities while walking in downtown Savannah, or going grocery shopping. I was hoping they would have had a wristlet in a different pattern, but Lilly only had two patterns in the wristlet and Big Flirt was more favored than the other so I bought it and couldn't be happier with it. The pattern has definitely grown on me and now I am smitten over the same print in the Callahan shorts.
Besame Mucho was my very first Lilly purchase after seeing the Christine sundress for the first time. This (and Scuba to Cuba) is my favorite print from her Summer line. It's bright, colorful and just screams summer and fun!
All of these products are on my Lilly wish list!
I've never been much of a Palazzo pant person, but I just can't resist this print!
I'm fortunate enough to have this beautiful dress hanging in my closet and I cannot recommend it enough! I always get a ton of compliments when I wear this beauty as the colors truly stand out.
Seaesta is another 'stand out' print and my two favorite colors, orange and pink so naturally it made the list.
Scuba to Cuba is by far my most favorite pattern right now, possibly even more so than Besame Mucho. Any of Lilly's products in this print is on my wish list, but I'll break it down into a few of my favorites!
The small cut-out on the back says enough. Swoon!
These will without a doubt be my next Lilly purchase. When I went to Belk last weekend I had no clue what size I was in her shorts. I'm normally a size 4, but from everything I read the Callahan's are sized big so I was told to size down. Well when I went in they only had a size 00 and a size 0. I knew my booty wasn't fitting into the 00, but I grabbed the 0's and to my surprise they slide up my behind just fine, they were just too tight once buttoned. I'm either a 2 or 4 so this weekend hopefully I can snag a pair!
Just like the Palazzo's, I've never been much of a romper gal, but this is gorgeous!
Unlike the Callahan's, these come in sizes extra small, small, medium and so on. They had one extra small pair left and they fit perfectly. I had them in my hand for at least 15 minutes, but like I've said before a Lilly purchase isn't a wallet friendly purchase and I'd rather spend my money on the Callahan's, but I'm tempted to get these for our trip to Disney next year. They were so comfortable!
Lastly, something for Cadence. We first saw this dress in Belk a month ago and she was just as obsessed over it as I was. When we went last weekend I let her try it on and that just increased her want for it. She's tall but petite so sizing with Cadence is tricky as small fit her perfectly, but with her being so tall it was short on her. The medium fit great length wise but was too slouchy in the top area. She doesn't know it, but she'll be getting this dress for Christmas (in a size medium - so she can grow into it).
So what are your Lilly loving looks?! Do tell...
