We spent a very low key weekend around the lowcountry - and we started it off on Friday evening with Jersey Mike's. JMs is one of our favorite sub shops, you just can't beat it! Mike's Way anyone?

We were also watching The Princess & the Frog for the first time. As you can see, Cadence was pretty into the movie.

On Saturday we spent the day at the pool, enjoying the cool water and warm weather. 

We had an early dinner at a local eatery, then headed home. 

I love when she's laughing hard and has no idea I'm snapping pics!

When we got home, she crashed, and so did Hector the Cat. He loves his human :)

On Sunday we headed to the pier and did some crabbing. Unfortunately we only caught one lonely little crab so we ended up letting him go. However, there were thousands upon thousands of little fiddlers.

Cadence thought they were cute, but she didn't want them too close, as you can see in her face below!

If you look close at what looks like rocks - it's fiddlers!

Although we didn't get any crabs, I took some beautiful pictures!

 Yesterday we celebrated Memorial Day by BBQ'ing chicken and remembering those who have sacrificed so much to defend our freedom. 

Cadence got to wear her new outfit, and Rosie photo bombed the pic!

Tarl and I took a quick ride in my dads old Chevy to go get some watermelon - it's a southern staple to have watermelon after you BBQ. No makeup and homeless hair sitting beside my main squeeze, gotta love it!
