To describe our growing up in the lowcountry of South Carolina, I would have to take you to the marsh on a spring day, flush the great blue heron from its silent occupation, scatter marsh hens as we sink to our knees in mud, open an oyster with a pocketknife and feed it to you from the shell and say, 'There. That taste. That's the taste of my childhood.' - Pat Conroy

Disney Day 3 - Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom is my most favorite park. Heck I think it is most peoples most favorite park. It's just such a magical place and is decorated so beautifully for whatever occasion you may be going for. We happened to be travelling during the fall so it was decorated perfectly with pumpkins and other fall decor. Our day was jam packed with stuff, so let's get started...

We got up first thing and dressed Cadence in her monogrammed castle shirt and big bows to match!

You can get to Magic Kingdom two ways. Taking the monorail or taking the ferryboat. We have been riding the monorail for two days so we opted for the boat this time. The skies were clear and the breeze was so nice!

We had beautiful views of Disneys Polynesian and Disneys Grand Floridian resort while waiting to get to Magic Kingdom.

As soon as we got into Magic Kingdom we went straight for the rides.

We rode Dumbo, Barnstormer, Under the Sea, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and a lot of other rides in Fantasyland. After we rode and rode we took in sights of Fantasyland while walking to our reservations at Belle's Castle for lunch at Be Our Guest.

Belle has been Cadence's favorite princess ever since she has watched Disney movies. I honestly thought it would be Aurora because of her pink dress, but nope, she has loved Belle from day one, so lunch at Be Our Guest was a must!

The castle decor was unbelievable! It looked just liked the movie and the detail was stunning!

Tarl got the braised pork, I got the mahi mahi and Cadence got the hot ham and cheese and the food was great! We also tried the grey stuff for dessert and yes, it was delicious!

After lunch we headed to the castle to watch a mid day show.

After the show we headed to Tarl's favorite ride, the Haunted Mansion.

After that we rode more rides and went back to the resort like we do daily. It gets super hot midday in Florida regardless of the time of year you travel and that's when we take the time to go back and rest our feet.

Walking back out of Magic Kingdom down Main Street I took a lot of pictures of their window displays.

Later that evening we had dinner reservations at the most gorgeous restaurant in Disney, Cinderella's Royal Table located in the castle. Cadence of course wore her Belle dress.

The castle was beautiful, the food was delicious and the Princesses were amazing, but we had no idea what would come later on that evening (keep reading!)

Cinderella's Royal Table is another dinner where you get a picture with your meal. This time it's of you and Cinderella delivered directly to your table. Each child also gets a wand!

Just in case you're wondering about the weather. It was beautiful. The overcast skies were a big help with the heat, but right before dinner it started raining. Don't let it stop your fun! Buy ponchos like we did!

After dinner was done, we headed off to Enchanted Tales with Belle. I honestly had no clue what this was. Not sure if it was a ride or story time or what. But since it had Belle in the name Cadence wanted to keep her Belle dress on. So glad that she did because what a memory it made!

There were about 45 people that go at one time. There are different characters that a person could play, but only certain people get chosen. I got chosen to the be the armoire (remember the one that talks in the movie?) and Cadence got chosen for the main character, Beast.

The people who got chosen to the be characters were part of the play and we acted out certain parts. Cadence got to rawr at Belle and we thought all was done. After the play was done, a cast member grabbed Cadence and had her walk down the hallway into Belle's arms to dance with Belle as the lights dimmed. It was the most magical moment for each of us. Tarl and I both had tears stinging our eyes because that little girl of ours was so very happy dancing with her favorite princess in the same dress that she wears!

After Enchanted Tales with Belle we headed to Main Street to get ready for the Fireworks. Cadence wanted a balloon as her special prize and I'm not going to lie, I loved that balloon too! A week later and it's still just as full as if we just bought it!

Tinker Bell left Cadence a beautiful night gown that night when we got back to our resort - she loved it! #FrozenEverything

Come back tomorrow for Disney Day 4!
