To describe our growing up in the lowcountry of South Carolina, I would have to take you to the marsh on a spring day, flush the great blue heron from its silent occupation, scatter marsh hens as we sink to our knees in mud, open an oyster with a pocketknife and feed it to you from the shell and say, 'There. That taste. That's the taste of my childhood.' - Pat Conroy

Dream Getaway

I believe that each of us has that one place that we really want to go to more so than any others, excluding my dad. He is probably the only person in the world who is content with where he is and has no desire to travel. #redneck #LoveHim

I however, am the complete opposite. I absolutely love to travel and jump at any chance I can too.
My #1 spot I want to visit in North America is New York City. I have always dreamed of grabbing a muffin while eyeing jewelry in the window at Tiffany's. #BreakfastAtTiffanys

It's a must for me to take a picture at 64 Perry Street. For those who don't know this is Carrie Bradshaw's apartment. I was and always will be a huge Sex and the City fan. Of course I have to have a worlds famous frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity, skate at Rockefeller center while seeing the tree light up in December. Stroll through Central Park, and take a picture of The Statue of Liberty.

One day...

However, if finances were limitless, I want to visit France, mainly because I think it would be so bad ass to learn French and be able to visit and speak fluently, but also because it is absolutely amazing! Now when I say France, I don't just mean Paris, I mean a lot of different places,
let's explore, shall we?

I truly think it would be such an amazing experience to travel to a different country and to have to learn a different dialect to do so. Although I can't imagine my southern accent with a French dialect. I'm sure it would be awful, but I sure would try!

jusqu' à la prochaine fois
