To describe our growing up in the lowcountry of South Carolina, I would have to take you to the marsh on a spring day, flush the great blue heron from its silent occupation, scatter marsh hens as we sink to our knees in mud, open an oyster with a pocketknife and feed it to you from the shell and say, 'There. That taste. That's the taste of my childhood.' - Pat Conroy

Weekend Catch Up {the life of a mom}

Sami's Shenanigans

Friday we picked up a brand new outfit for the little Princess at Gymboree! It is so cute and perfect for winter. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture, and it's too hot here in the south for her to be wearing long sleeves, however, it did come with a cute tutu that we wore on Saturday!

Isn't the tutu precious? What day would be complete without silly faces?!

Saturday she had her pageant and I'm the proud mom of Wee Miss Coastal Carolina! She also won overall for donating the most to Charity, so we came home with two crowns! She did amazing and was so happy when she won!

Sunday was a lazy day spent at home with a box of these amazing Lindt Chocolates!
See those round chocolate cups with the white on top, that is a Crème Brulee Chocolate, and it's worth the $10 you will spend on this box, just for those 3 little delicacies'! So yummy!
