To describe our growing up in the lowcountry of South Carolina, I would have to take you to the marsh on a spring day, flush the great blue heron from its silent occupation, scatter marsh hens as we sink to our knees in mud, open an oyster with a pocketknife and feed it to you from the shell and say, 'There. That taste. That's the taste of my childhood.' - Pat Conroy

Sorry

Sorry for the blogging or lack there of. I have come down with a nasty little head cold and I'm definitely not complaining about being a mom, it's by far the best job in the world, but you do not get any sick days from it, so by the time I get home from work, I just lay down and relax my head, which currently feels like it weighs 65 pounds!

My poor little nose is completely raw and I am not exaggerating when I tell you I have been through two rolls of toilet paper, extra large rolls too! That's how stuffy my head is!

As soon as I start feeling 100% again I'll be back with a catch up post, which will probably consist of more tissue, endless laundry, work and lots of rest...gotta love the changing weather!
