To describe our growing up in the lowcountry of South Carolina, I would have to take you to the marsh on a spring day, flush the great blue heron from its silent occupation, scatter marsh hens as we sink to our knees in mud, open an oyster with a pocketknife and feed it to you from the shell and say, 'There. That taste. That's the taste of my childhood.' - Pat Conroy

Let's catch up...

Monday we celebrated my girls 5th birthday by having dinner at her favorite pizza place in town and walking around to see our local festival of lights.

My boss and his wife took me out to lunch today for Christmas. It was such a quaint little restaurant called The Cottage right near the river with an absolutely gorgeous view!

I ordered the shrimp and grits and they were absolutely divine!

I thought eating this wonderful meal was my Christmas, which was perfectly okay with me and more than enough, but that's when they whipped this bad boy out...

I am in love with my new Michael Kors bag! I couldn't have a better boss!

My sweet husband went hunting last night and sent me this picture because he got bored...there's something about a man in camo that I just love...he's handsome to begin with, but the camo just does it for me, of course I'm biased :)

I am so very close to ordering my Erin Condren life planner! With their referral program "refer a friend" I've already earned $20 towards my purchase, along with a $10 promo code for my first purchase. That means that $60 life planner, can be bought for $30, however, I'd love to get that $30 down lower, so if you're interested in purchasing from EC in the near future, please let me know and I'd love to give you my referral link! Help a sista out y'all!
