To describe our growing up in the lowcountry of South Carolina, I would have to take you to the marsh on a spring day, flush the great blue heron from its silent occupation, scatter marsh hens as we sink to our knees in mud, open an oyster with a pocketknife and feed it to you from the shell and say, 'There. That taste. That's the taste of my childhood.' - Pat Conroy

Five

Going a little backwards here, but first going to give a shout out to my Gamecocks 5 in a row on Saturday night. It was a close game, but after the 3rd quarter we pretty much had it in the bag!
We went to an annual Clemson/Carolina party where there is pure shit talking, lots of food, friends and fun!

Emily's going to kill me, but it's an equally bad picture of me. The photog was sitting down while we were standing, and comfy sweaters don't do much for the figure!

Olly, our elf, has been a busy little thing...

Saturday night he traveled to Memaws

On Thanksgiving he brought Cadence a little gift

On Tuesday night he had us plant small mint pieces in sugar

and on Wednesday morning they had made candy canes

We also caught him hanging out with Santa

He reminded us to be healthy and keep our hands clean

This morning Olly was catfishing for Hector the cat.

Our family from Florida came up and we had such a great time!

Christmas is now in full effect and I'm off to plan something for each night...xo
