To describe our growing up in the lowcountry of South Carolina, I would have to take you to the marsh on a spring day, flush the great blue heron from its silent occupation, scatter marsh hens as we sink to our knees in mud, open an oyster with a pocketknife and feed it to you from the shell and say, 'There. That taste. That's the taste of my childhood.' - Pat Conroy

Religion

Today I'm going to talk about a very politically incorrect topic, a topic most bloggers do not even discuss due to the chance of offending someone else, religion.

I found a link up just the other day that looked a lot of fun. Just as I was about to go and type away I read the last sentence of this bloggers linkup stating that she was an atheist, did not believe in Jesus.
It just made me sad because she is missing out on such a glorious life.

I'm not perfect, nor do I claim to be. I don't go to church like I should. I swear, I judge, I'm not the perfect wife nor mom. I have so much room for improvement in my life that it's not even funny, but at the end of the day I'm a believer in the almighty Jesus and his never ending love for me, and you!

I'm not a "bible pusher" for lack of better words but if I can touch just one persons life by this blog post, then please contact me and I'll be more than happy to say a prayer with you via email.

I'm not ashamed of my religion. I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a Christian. I love God and all the blessings that he has given to me and my family. I'm not worthy of his love, but yet he loves me daily. Let's not forget the real reason for the season!
