From Hollywood to the Lowcountry

So I wanted to start writing a weekly post. Something that we all secretly enjoy, and what better way than all the gossip that's going on in the world. All that juicy drama that we all crave in some way. I'm not hiding behind it, I love me some Perez Hilton! He's gay and fabulous! Not as fabulous as Andy Cohen, but he's up there! So each Friday I'm bringing all the Hollywood drama to the Lowcountry! Grab your cup of coffee, or in my case, a Red Bull and enjoy!

 

 

So Farrah Abraham, we all know her as one of the stars on MTVs Teen Mom. She is the "pretty one".

Farrah's journey began on 16 and Pregnant, and yes I watched. She got casted to go on to Teen Mom, and yes I watched. Was she my fave? Hell NO! She never had her child, she was extremely disrespectful to her parents. Where I come from, I would have gotten smacked sideways to Tuesday, but I guess that's part of growing up in the South, and I would not have it any other way!

 

Farrah recently wrote a book, My Teenage Dream Ended. Have I read it? No. Do I plan on reading it? Nope. I have no interest what-so-ever in reading it, nor do I want to support her financially by buying it. Once it goes inside of the $2 book bin at Wal-Mart, I might would pick up then.

 

If you haven't heard Ms. Abraham recently did a porn flick with James Deen. I immediately thought James Deen? What the hell, didn't he die in a car crash several years ago? Yes, that literally crossed my mind. You see I was thinking of James Dean, "Rebel Without A Cause", James Dean.

I didn't realize there was another James Deen, who was in another type of movie making, you know the kind, the one where he has sex with other people for money. Now I'm sure both James Deens had the same amount of sex. Let's face it, in the 1950s James Dean was a badass. He had the coolest name in the industry and good looking face to match, plus he had that whole bad boy vibe going on, but I bet Mr. Dean never made money off it.

 

Let me get back on track...

 

Farrah claims she made this porn so she could immortalize her extremely hot body, so that when she is old and wrinkly, she can look back on how amazing she was. Okkkaaay. That's a first! Isn't that what pictures are for? Or home movies with your significant other? Or Budoir Photos? There are several other ways, besides being in a porn, to keep track of what you looked like back in the day.

May I just say, Farrah is pretty. She has an extremely great body after having a child. But to me, she's not gorgeous! Pretty, yes. Gorgeous, no. I got the hubs two cent on her looks, because he is totally honest, he said the same thing...pretty, yes. Hot, nope! Said her nose is TOO big.

 

To be honest, this grosses me out. I'm sure a lot of couples in this world have made some sort of video. I'm not going to lie, I'll raise my hand to that question, but I'm married, it was made in the privacy of my own home, and after having a child, it's long been deleted! I DO NOT need to go to

H-Town and have sex with some random guy to look back on and say, "damn I was hot."

Lindsay Lohan - Rehab

 

Should I really go into details about how I feel about her? Puhlease, I won't waste my time.

I honestly wish her the best, and who knows, maybe this time her stint in rehab will do her some good and clean her up. She went on Late Night with David Letterman this past week, and if you haven't watched it, well here you go:

 



  He basically asks her questions, that others don't. He's to the point and brutally honest, and although I don't watch Late Night shows, because I am in bed at 9, I loved watching this!   ********************   Every one is beating a dead horse regarding Kim Ks pregnancy wardrobe. Oh my goodness! I get it people, her outfit choices aren't the greatest, but she's pregnant, and hormonal, and being that I've been in those shoes, I'm not about to make fun of a pregnant woman's looks.   Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Kim K. fan. I don't watch the show, nor do I keep up with the Kardashians, but I still am not going to make fun of her outfit choices, although I will agree they are not the best.

What I will say about Ms. KK, is that prior to her gaining pregnancy weight, she was HOT, and I'm sure in true Hollywood style she will bounce right back to her skinny self, but compared to Farrah Abraham, she's gorgeous!

That's all for today folks. On another note I just purchased Brandi Glanvilles book,

Drinking and Tweeting, and I love it! If you click on the link you can read an excerpt out of the book. That was my mistake, because once I read that I was SOLD! I'm not a huge Brandi fan on the RHOBH, but I'm 50 pages into the book thus far, and I am definitely starting to see her in another light. She's brutally honest, and it's refreshing!

 

I also hunkered down and bought the hubs a Yeti cooler last night. I made him well aware that this was his Father's Day/Birthday gift all rolled in to one. To see his face light up once he saw it was priceless, and although my credit card is still burning this morning, it was money well spent.

 

Of course the Princess and I had to test out it's durability.

 

 

 

I also found out last night that one of my exes reads my blog, sometimes. It was one of those moments where I look back and think, "Goodness, I hope I've never put anything on there about the past." Although I use the term ex lightly, as we were both pre-teen and had no clue what we were doing. He was my first kiss though...so I guess that's something for the books, unlike Farrah it wasn't recorded for me to look back on...that's a good thing though, because like I said, I was clueless!
